The chiropractic objective is to locate, analyze, and facilitate the correction of vertebral subluxation to support coordinated function and adaptability.
This objective is expressed through Advanced Muscle Palpation Technique® (AMPT), a tonal system of applied chiropractic science.
AMPT utilizes palpation to assess patterns of tone within the spine and surrounding tissues, identifying areas of vertebral subluxation where coordination is altered. These tonal findings guide the chiropractor in determining where and when a specific adjustment is applied.
Through a low-velocity, higher-amplitude approach, AMPT engages tissue tension to facilitate the correction of vertebral subluxation and support coordinated adaptive processes.
Consistent application of this system allows for ongoing assessment and refinement of tone, reinforcing stability in adaptability over time.
